Open University Study Course in Sport Marketing
For people with a Bachelor’s degree and previous work experience in sport business, Sport Business School offers a Open University of Applied Sciences study course in sport marketing.
The course is a combination of applicable and updated models and best practices in the modern sport marketing. The content of the studies focus mainly on sport marketing strategies, sport club marketing, sport event production and marketing, and sport brand management.
Studies are designed for professionals working in sport marketing and management in sport clubs, sport associations, sport federations, and sport leagues as well as in businesses operating closely with sport events and organizations. This update leads all participants to Sport Business Intelligence in its latest form.
Course is completed in eight intensive two-day periods and the total workload is 30 ECTS. As an obligatory development work the students prepare an updated marketing case study for their respective organization.
The teaching language in the course is mainly Finnish but some of the lectures and Future of Sport Marketing seminar will be delivered in English.
